A little tea

It's 6:04 am and armed with a cup of tea I have successfully cleared the cobwebs out of my brain since jumping (ok...dragging myself) out of bed at 5 am. I have marketing tasks to accomplish for the Kingdom of Workplace Requirements.

You see, a few months ago, the powers that be noticed my penchant for writing and have decided to use it to their advantage (hmmmm, can you say "salary renegotiation"?). In any case, my precious, personal "up-with-the-birds" time is now occassionally replaced with "write-some-damn-good-copy" time for the company.

In order to get all the tasks done throughout the day that I was originally hired for, these marketing duties must take place before the kiddies get up for school. Lord knows if I waited until after they went to bed, my writing would leave people scratching their heads and a lot of drool on my keyboard after passing out.

The kids are growing 'qikley' (this is how a job applicant spelled "quickly" on a resume I received yesterday. I couldn't resist). This past summer was nice. Princess Bri has gone on record this past Monday that it was "Labrador Day." I kept my eyes out for dog parades and people waving popper scoopers, but none were to be found. Ok, time to get back to work.
